GOD'S SPRING TIME

I don't know if I have a favorite season, but if I do it is SPRING. Spring is special for many reasons. The change of weather, warm days and sunshine, ranks very high. A couple of weeks ago Benjamin went skiing for the last time of the season. Snow in the mountains and shirt-sleeve weather in valley - wow.

I also enjoy seeing new growth. A little hint of green here in the North, calves in the pastures, thawed creeks running. Last week I went branding! I operated the squeeze gate as 110 calves were pushed through for various care and a brand. (They did not teach that in Seminary.) Rancher Tim's wife, Tracy, sent me home with a bundle of Pussy Willow branches for Marla. She said it was her confirmatin of Spring.

Of course, Spring also means Easter - RESURRECTION DAY. Nothing says new life like Easter! As nature around us renews, we are reminded that we can be renewed by the power of Christ who rose the third day. Our church celebrated this new life power with a full house and Baptism.
